For over 34 years, Ronald J. Goodman has been in the general practice of law representing a great variety of individuals and businesses. The service to his clientele has cut across boundaries in various disciplines. Very often a business client is involved in the acquisition or sale of real estate or business. As wealth is gained, there is a need to preserve assets and plan for the future.

Over the years, the firm has represented a number of health care facilities on a regular basis and not only traditional health care services were provided but also general business services and negotiations in connection with acquisition and sale of facilities.
Ronald J. Goodman has received the designation of Certified Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils, which is a board certifying organization approved by the American Bar Association.

The board certifying program is restricted to attorneys who possess expertise in a particular area of the law. The certified attorney must devote a significant part of his time to the field, be recommended by his peers, and meet educational requirements. Once certified, continuing post graduate educational training is required. The purpose of the certifying program is to assist the public in choosing an appropriate attorney. Ohio has initiated a certifying program, but as of May 1, 1997, no organizations, including the National Association of Estate Planning Councils, have been approved as a certifying body.

Ronald Jay Goodman is a member of Midwest Legal Services Plan.
